Coleridge Way Guide – Buy it here
This Coleridge Way route guide and path companion takes the reader along the 51 miles of the path with facts, stories and anecdotes about the great poet himself, the people who live (and lived) along the path and the places Coleridge would have visited. The return journey follows the new England coast Path back to Nether Stowey making this a 100 mile circular path.
Ian Pearson was the first person to walk the Coleridge Way back in 2005 and has walked it a further three times in the past year with his faithful companion, Ozy the Labrador. Ian lives at the beginning of, and on, the Coleridge Way and is (probably) the most knowledgeable person on all aspects of the path.
The Coleridge Way Companion Guide is not just a route guide; it is the story of the path and a self-standing travelogue as well as gazetteer of interesting facts. It makes ideal reading along the route or as part of the planning stage for this long distance path.
For those walking from Nether Stowey Ian, with his partner Lynne, offer comfortable B&B accommodation – Stay in Nether Stowey at The Old Cider House – and you can pick Ian’s brains (and get your book signed) all at the same time.
