The Coleridge Way – Special Offer from Encounter Walking
Following in the footsteps of poets, The Coleridge Way is a great autumn walk through the Quantocks, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park, finishing with a superb walk along the beautiful Brendon valley to the coast at Lynmouth, dubbed Devon’s ‘little Switzerland’ by Robert Shelley.
On the moors the purple heather and yellow gorse are blooming while in the woodlands the leaves are turning yellow and gold. Listen for the roar of the stags and look for salmon in the rivers, swimming upstream to spawn. This walk offers real variety with the best moor, coast and inland walking scenery in one continuous trail. 51 miles Nether Stowey to Lynmouth over 4 or 6 days walking suitable for all walkers.
