As with any long distance path the planning stage is very important and we’ve been phoning around this week to book all six nights of our planned walk on 1st June 2014 along the extended Coleridge Way to Lynton.

The Coleridge Way, Watery Lane

Ozy and Lynne researching the Coleridge Way path

We found all the accommodation providers along the Coleridge Way to be very friendly – especially as we needed to find dog friendly bed and breakfast places so that Ozy the Labrador could join us.

Of course, we have the advantage of living at The Old Cider House along the route, just a stone’s throw from Coleridge Cottage, but if we had to stay somewhere we would, of course, have chosen us!

Is there a Coleridge Way Walk Companion Guide?

What a good question! We are writing it at the moment and undertaking the research of some of the more quirky facts along the route. Coleridge would have been proud of us!

We are on the lookout for interesting facts, stories and information, so if you have any, please give us a call on 01278 732228 or e-mail
